My buyer Elsa could see the possibilities in this once grand Paseo home from the outset. Since I also love old homes and renovating, I could see it too but not to the degree she could.
With 3 floors and a full basement, it took us quite awhile to see the home from top to bottom. We had to do a recount to be sure we had the number of bedrooms correct and even heard a “varmit” (squirrel? raccoon?) in the attic along the way. But Elsa was determined, she won a bidding war, immediately went to work and wow! it is turning out great. The varmits are gone, the floors and woodwork have been refinished, old wood has been re-purposed to furniture, contemporary lighting added and much more. It is worthy of one of those renovation shows on cable.
Here are just a few photos…I’ll be back with more as she completes the renovation and moves on to her next Paseo Boulevard project.
